We enjoyed our meal so much we went back for a second visit. Enjoyed limpets as a starter with the espada(scabbard) with a banana and a great selection of vegetables and sweet potato. Also enjoyed the mixed fish skewer. And finish with a Bol de Mel de canha and a glass of Madeira wine to finish. Family run with great service. Book ahead as it is popular

There is 3 options for ‘dish of the day’ in very good prices between 12-16 (even on weekend). I wanted to eat something small before going to airport and it was perfect choice. Really nice staff speaking many languages.

We went here twice whilst staying in Funchal last week. The food was excellent. We also recommended to friends who were staying nearby and they liked it too. Pleasant atmosphere and great food

The chefs are show offs! EVERY SINGLE THING THAT ARRIVED ON OUR PLATES WERE FLAVOURFUL. They really mean it when they say ‘Madeira Flavours’. I had the Chicken with the Passion fruit sauce and my partner had the same but with lovely crispy Milho. I’ll admit, we arrived with lunch still in our bellies but I didn’t waste a single bite, I cleaned the plate. The service too was excellent, our waiter was polite, bright, attentive and very informative.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with delicious Portuguese flavors. The fish is cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Madeira Flavours.

Less then 10 min waiting, nice service, quiet inside and food was great, brushetta thingy with mushrooms the best
